Outdoor enthusiasts may hike our beautiful land surrounding Buffalo Lodge to discover many hidden treasures. Because of our perfect location, you are only a few minutes from some of the most special places in the United States. Places that may be seen on the cover of coffee table books and magazines are close by to enjoy firsthand! Some of the most popular are Hawksbill Crag (Whitaker Point), Round Top Mountain, Lost Valley, Hemmed-in Hollow, Sam's Throne and, of course, the Buffalo National River.

Float the Buffalo River

With the entrance to Kyle's Landing just across the road, a float trip down the Buffalo National River is another excellent way to enjoy the Ozark Mountains. While floating the upper section of the river, you can stop and hike to Hemmed-in-Hollow and see a gorgeous waterfall. It's a great place to have a group photo taken with the waterfall as your background!
